Research on Cross-Culture Management Framework of Multinational Firms: A Case Study

Abstract
Multinational firms are facing the challenge of cultural differences and cross-culture conflicts. Based on Hofstede (1980)’s Cultural Dimensions theory, this paper firstly listed out main differences among Poland, China and UK of HR practices. Subsequently it put forward established system consisting of the 5-step communication mechanism (cultural analysis, cross-culture training and simulation, localization of HRM, cross-culture control and Culture Pervasion) and finally developed 7s model for guaranteeing the implementation of cross-culture management. The purpose of this paper therefore is to outline and put forward more dynamic and contextual approaches for understanding intercultural communication research in cross-cultural management (CCM).
